Welcome to the world Baby Morley! On Saturday, Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor (well Eliza) presented their new little human on Instagram! And can you just say, peak adorableness? This is the moment that the Morleys dreamed of, and with all that’s happening, a new baby always renews the joys.
Proud parents to be! This past week, both Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor shared the news on Instagram that they are expecting their little bundle of joy! Eliza’s dream of becoming a Mama is finally coming true and the way that she surprised the world was the absolute cutest.
Back to (showbiz) work! Eliza Taylor will have a starring role as well as being an executive producer in the upcoming Australian independent film, It Only Takes A Night. Written by Australian film producer Callan Durlik, (his first feature film) It Only Takes A Night will be set in London, England but filmed in Perth, Western Australia.
The story reflects a group of four best friends that have a fun night on the town only to embark on an unexpected path that will forever change them. One night is all that it takes to transform their lives forever. As they go through this transformation together, they’ll become a support system, place differences aside, and discover their self-worth and values.
The official statement for It Only Takes One Night:
Set in London, It Only Takes A Night makes a statement through four female characters who learn to own their worth, redefine their destinies and support each other despite their differences.
Starring along Eliza will be an ensemble of fellow Australian performers:
- George Pullar (A Place to Call Home-Australian television drama)
- Sana’a Shaik (2067)
- Arielle Carver-O’Neill (Ash vs Evil Dead)
- Charles Grounds (Crazy Rich Asians)
- Jaime Ureta (Australian Day)
- Ana Ika (film debut)
Currently, characters have not yet to be disclosed nor what the “path” will be. Yet, Taylor is thrilled to be part of a project that focuses on Australian creators, along with being able to produce something close to her heart. Factually,
“I am so humbled to have the opportunity to produce a film that not only elevates the female voice but showcases Australian actors and film makers.” -Eliza Taylor via Cinema Australia
Aside from her work as an actress (The 100, Christmas Inheritance, Thumper, Neighbours), Taylor is also the board president for Little Hearts Learning-a nonprofit that helps provide better education, breaking poverty, and improving community lifestyles. Currently, LHL is partnered with KTF (The Kokoda Track Foundation) and will continue to be through 2022. Many thanks to the supporters and donors, LHL succeeded in their goals in record timing. Their mission is far from over though. There are a number of new projects in development that will continue to expand the lifegiving circle in Papua New Guinea. Bob Morley serves as the board’s secretary. To learn more about the charity and how to get involved, you can visit the link mentioned above.
Moving forward, It Only Takes A Night is categorized as both a romantic comedy and female empowerment piece. Surely, there will be plenty of laughs and drama throughout.
Filming will begin in mid-May that’s likely to roll for a few months. Entertainment media production is restarting as Australia heads into post-pandemic status. As of right now, there is no premiere or release date.
UPDATE 4.22.21: Eliza’s character in It Only Takes A Night will be named Ruby Allen. Eliza even gave us a little tease of her character’s new hair on her Instagram today. Check out her darker hue!

This past weekend, Christmas Inheritance premiered on the streaming service Netflix, starring Eliza Taylor. While the movie is your typical-run-of-the-mill holiday leisure, Eliza was the one who made it delightful and fun. See my review below about Christmas Inheritance! *The following article contains spoilers.*
As you all know, Eliza Taylor’s (Clarke Griffin) 27th birthday is just around the corner. At Grounders Source, I’d not only think of this as a news site but also trying to get the fandom involved as well. This project will exemplify just that.
I know that this is a bit late, but I have uploaded HQ photos of Eliza Taylor arriving in Vancouver on August 6th. She is currently filming season four of The 100.
Eliza Taylor, who plays Clarke Griffin on The 100 will be playing an undercover policewoman in the upcoming independent film, Thumper.
Everyone at Grounders Source wants to wish Eliza Taylor a very spectacular birthday today! Fans emailed and tweeted me wishes and photos as part of a special birthday project just for Eliza. Thank you all who have contributed! I hope that you love the video card that I made!
As we all pretty much know, October 24th will be Eliza Taylor’s 26th birthday! To celebrate, we fans are going to do something extra special for her, just to show how much we love and appreciate her. Here is what you can do to contribute:
∞ Send her a personal birthday wish and/or favorite photo of her or you can make fan art that is either hand drawn or digital. Mine will be included of course, but I am stepping aside and have your talent and love shine.
∞ I will Photoshop everyone’s pieces to make a unique birthday card. The final product will be posted on the site, uploaded in the gallery, Tweeted to Eliza, and posted on my Tumblr, as well as the Grounders Source Instagram. You can save the card too as we all worked our hearts off to make it!
∞ All photos and wishes must be emailed at email@example.com under the subject, Eliza’s Project no later than Friday, October 23rd. This is so I can make it and put it together that night and have it ready by Saturday.
∞ There is going to be a hashtag regarding this and it is #Elizasproject. I am trying to keep it as secretive as possible, so she can be surprised. Only use it if you have a question.
I believe that is it! I cannot wait to see everyone’s amazingness! Make sure that you watermark your artwork in the lower right hand corner, so there won’t be any theft. Trust me, long ago I had some valuable concert photos stolen from me because I didn’t put my name on them, so now I know how important it is to credit your work.
Again, thank you for all of your love, and fantastic help! ♥
