The most significant import ever to come out of Canada, besides maple syrup, ketchup-flavored chips, and several members of The 100 cast, is the sports comedy, Shoresy! Starring Jared Keeso as Shoresy, a foul-mouthed ice hockey player from the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs living with the wild life both on and off the rink, and Tasya Teles from The 100 as Nat, who’s best known for her role as Echo Kom Azegada, the Crave Canada TV-created series will be returning to Hulu for its fifth season! We Americans are excited about it, since we had to wait an extra two months to watch!
Shoresy season 5 is already streaming on Crave in Canada, with the premiere launching on Christmas Day 2025. Its season finale, “Les Rapides De Rawdon,” which dropped on January 22, received rave reviews. Now, I’m not much of a sports fan, and having watched my hometown NFL football team, the Chicago Bears, end their 2025-2026 season, which even dipped my minor interest, I love sports in entertainment media for some reason. They’re fun, they’re exciting, and they seem to offer a heart-in-head focus of spirit when the players are not in the game, although it’s fiction. Shoresy falls under the ‘fun’ category, and with Tasya being a smart and savvy character whose career is often dominated by men, the show is filled with core moments and outtakes.
Keeso created the hockey comedy, along with its parent show, Letterkenny. Both reigned successfully in the Canadian media, with the former continuing its rapid growth on a global scale.
When does Shoresy season 5 come to Hulu?
Glad you asked! Hulu will stream all six episodes of season 5 of Shoresy on Saturday, February 21, 2026. The Disney-backed streamer is already home to the first 4 seasons, due to its partnership with Crave. Having the partnership brings the comedy to the States, where it can reach more fans south of Canada. And more exposure to the talent behind it!
Crave released the official logline ahead of season 5’s premiere:
Season 5 sees Shoresy and the Bulldogs fight to protect the North American game.

They were right when they said Shoresy was foul-mouthed.
Who does Tasya Teles play on Shoresy?
Tasya portrays the Bulldogs’ manager, Nat, a fierce, firm, but dedicated woman whose mission is to do what it takes to get the team back on track and hit a goal or two. According to her official character’s description from Crave, “Nat inherited the team from her late mother and has since seen it go to sh*t. She’ll do whatever it takes to make Bulldogs games the best option in town for families to spend a Sudbury Saturday night.”
Like her The 100 alter ego, Echo, Tasya brings her trademark energy and strong woman values into Nat. The iconic roles drive both shows storylines and pull the audience in for more, as they should, because Echo is metamorphic with saturated layers, while Nat is business and sports-driven.
For context, Tasya has been a Shoresy cast member since the first season, and her presence made it all much more appealing and sent a positive wave.
What Tasya Teles said about making the dynamic change from The 100 to Shoresy
Recently, the Toronto-born actress opened up with Sirius XM Canada on switching to comedy from dystopian drama. Don’t forget that The 100 constantly spins the moral compasses and can be an emotional pendulum, depending on your perspective. Shoresy is the complete opposite, so your feelings will shift naturally.
“It’s funny because after filming for years of [being on The 100, which is a dark, sci-fi show where there is a lot of death and a lot of, you know, fighting and whatnot, I walked away from it. I would really like to do some comedy right now, just to shake it off a little bit. But when the offer came in [to do Shoresy], I was like, ‘Oh, my gosh. This is incredible because I really wanted to live in the space of comedy, and I really wanted to become a part of this world. So it was a great opportunity, but it was a challenge. It was a challenge. It was learning a new skill.”
In a surprise admission, Tasya revealed that comedy was harder because it involves timing. Yet, she really loved the process of getting into it.
We love to hear it!
Has Shoresy been renewed for season 6?
Good news! Bell Media announced that the hockey series has been renewed for a sixth season! Production will begin in fall 2026, and premieres sometime in 2027! Like the past seasons, the newest one will have six episodes. As for its US Hulu drop, it’s expected to debut one month after the season finale!
