Bob Morley to star in upcoming zombie horror film based on the Crossed comics

Surviving in a post-apocalyptic world, as depicted in The 100, is a challenging feat. You have your pick of fighting enemies, trying not to get radiated by Praimfaya, or taking down fascist groups. Attempting to survive a zombie-reigned world during an infectious pandemic, well, that’s a whole other story.

Enter Bob Morley, who still has lots of fighting left in him, and so he’s using his strengths to battle off infected zombies, while being psychotically entombed in a mesh of, let’s say, deep grievances that afflict in the matter of life and death. More so in the latter.

He’s been tapped to portray Randall, one of The Infected, in the upcoming horror movie, Crossed. The Six Studios production is based on the popular graphic novels of the same title, created by Garth Ennis, and will be directed by Rob Jabbez. Ennis also scripted the storyline, and if I know my zombie stuff, then I expect it to be filled with the scary details

If you like zombie things, such as the AMC TV series The Walking Dead or Fear The Walking Dead with Alycia Debnam-Carey, then Crossed would be up your alley.

For your consideration, The Hollywood Reporter was the first to report on Bob’s latest venture.

Like several zombie productions, Crossed will bleed out with the intense gore, violence, survival strategies, and even death, so  I’m just warning you of what’s ahead. I hope for my sake that Bob doesn’t die, but that’s something beyond my control.

What is Crossed about, and who will star alongside Bob Morley?

Per the synopsis, Crossed takes place during a world pandemic that left nothing but evil circumstances.

Follows a group of survivors dealing with an apocalyptic pandemic that causes its victims to carry out their most evil thoughts.

Carl Choi from Six Studios is excited about the movie and is eager for the fans to see it come to life on the Big Screen.

“Fans of Crossed have speculated on our cast for some time, and in the spirit of helping all Crossed fans survive the coming apocalypse, we are pleased to reveal our exceptional cast who are bringing Garth’s thrilling and horror-filled comic series to life on screen.”

Joining Bob in the film will be Devin Druid, Ash Santos, Ethan Jones Romero, Kyla Hee, Chido Nwokocha, Spencer Granese, Ana Mulvoy Ten, Steven Hack, and newcomer Lorenzo Ross. Crossed has additionally recruited Owen Harn, Fedor Steer, Kelvin Adekunle, Angie Campbell, and  Peter Falls.

Crossed is the second film Bob’s filmed this year, following another horror production, Another. He’ll portray a disturbed pyschologist and that’s pretty scary in itself.

As of this writing, no release date for the new movie has been confirmed, but here’s to hoping that it’ll be soon!
