Bob Morley, famous and acclaimed for his role as Bellamy Blake in The 100, has gained a new role in an upcoming Apple TV series, The Husbands. The show will be set in London, England. It will comprise only eight episodes, as that’s the norm now for streaming. But the good news is that we will see Bob on our screens again!

He’ll portray an attic husband in the comedy-drama. While not much was revealed about his character, we could only imagine he would bring his natural charm to the role. Even when Bob becomes a darker persona in his productions, he’s still as charming as his ‘nicer’ personas. However, he is just a little bit creepier.

What to know about Apple TV’s The Husbands and Bob Morley’s other husband roles

Deadline first reported the news on April 9. Per their reporting, The Husbands is an A24 UK Division production. Additionally, it stars Joe Alwyn, Richard Gadd, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Joel Kinnaman, Daniel Ings, and Fehinti Balogun. Juno Temple, known for her titular roles in Ted Lasso and Fargo, will portray Lauren. She is the wife of the above eight husbands.

The series is based on th NYT best-selling novel of the same name by the English author, Holly Gramazio. Amazon reveals the book’s description of Lauren’s experiences with numerous partners and her life.

“When Lauren returns home to her flat in London late one night, she is greeted at the door by her husband, Michael. There’s only one problem—she’s not married. She’s never seen this man before in her life. But according to her friends, her much-improved decor, and the photos on her phone, they’ve been together for years.

As Lauren tries to puzzle out how she could be married to someone she can’t remember meeting, Michael goes to the attic to change a lightbulb and abruptly disappears. In his place, a new man emerges, and a new, slightly altered life re-forms around her. Realizing that her attic is creating an infinite supply of husbands, Lauren confronts the question: If swapping lives is as easy as changing a lightbulb, how do you know you’ve taken the right path? When do you stop trying to do better and start actually living?”

As for Bob portraying husbands, he ended up as some pretty shady men. He was a gaslighting cheater in the sci-fi thriller, I’ll Be Watching, and a another cheater in the Aussie miniseries, The Family Next Door. Then, there was Nathan Webb from ABC7 Australia’s In Limbo, a family man suffering from the woes of mental illness.

From The 100 to these new astounding roles, there’s no limit to this man’s career!
