The filming dates have been officially announced for The 100 season five. Â The series will be filming once again in Vancouver (take a vacation there, it’s lovely!), and YVRShoots will be the company doing the honor.
The filming of the fifth season of The 100 will take place in Vancouver, BC, as I stated. Â The following dates are as to be followed:
April 5th, 2017 : Pre-production and scripting will be created.
August 14th, 2017-January 29th, 2017: Filming and post-production begins. Â The season finale being filmed in the last week of production.

The bad side to this is that new material will be shown at Comic Con, which will take place July 20-23rd. Â However, that is okay because personally, I prefer the wait for the element of surprise. Â We haven’t gotten any new media shown at Comic Con since season two.
This also could mean, that hopefully, season five will be a longer one.  The fourth season had a block of thirteen episodes, and we all know that this simply is not enough.
