Lindsey Morgan Snags Role In Walker Texas Ranger Reboot

Lindsey Morgan

The 100 may be coming to an end this year, but not the career of Lindsey Morgan.  She has landed a new gig alongside Supernatural alumni Jared Padalecki, whose show will finalize after fifteen seasons.

The CW has greenlit a reboot of the  1990’s Lee Norris drama, Walker, Texas Ranger.  The series has been given a full-season order and will be included in the 2020-2021 fall lineup.

Morgan will portray Micki, a law partner of Padalecki’s character, Cordell Walker.  The official character description for Micki has been released by Variety.

Morgan will play Micki, Walker’s new partner who was born and raised in San Antonio. Described as focused and perceptive, her family has been in Texas since before it was Texas. She’s been in the Army and on the police force and knows first-hand what it’s like to be singled out and discriminated against because of her gender.

Raven Reyes, a beloved character with great morals coping with a disability, will be disappearing from our screens as The 100 will draw its curtains with season 7‘s ending.  (No date has been released as  of late)  It has been a remarkable journey as we became attached to significant characters and the cast who emulated them.

Will you be tuning in for Lindsey’s new show?  Additionally, she’ll be directing an episode of The 100.

The 100 will air its last season this year on the CW.
