GUYS I’M FREAKING OUT.

I AM THE BIGGEST CLEXA FAN IN THE UNIVERSE.

AND THIS HAPPENED.

*SQUEALS*

DEAD. I’M DEAD. SO DEAD.

Everyone knows I am Bellarke af, and I kept telling myself I couldn’t let my people down by admitting HOW MUCH I FREAKIN LOVE THESE TWO. But the second Lexa got all puppy eyed I was A LOST CAUSE. That kiss. I COULD NOT BREATHE. I TEARED UP. FREAKIN PERFECTION. THE CHEMISTRY. THE TOTAL RAW BEAUTY OF TWO SOULS WHO ONLY UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER IN THIS WORLD OF SURVIVAL. IT WAS MYSTIFYING. IT WAS INSANELY BEAUTIFUL.

Ok, so I guess other sorta important things happened in the episode too. While last week I was raving about how much I loved the episode because it focused entirely on survival, this week was all about the ships. And that was so fine with me. I don’t even have my wits about me to write my usual recap, so I’m just going to go team by team to discuss where everyone ended up this episode.

Team Clexa: Apart from being hot as hell and the current lock screen of my phone, the ladies did get in a little tiff over Octavia this episode. O confronts Clarke about knowing about the missile from last week, and Lexa overhears. Clarke tells Lexa she trust O, but Lexa isn’t so sure. Octavia is supposed to be going out on a scouting mission, but Lexa sends her off to the guard post instead. Lexa then tells Ryder to kill Octavia. Clarke sees Indra by the fire and Indra tells her Octavia is on a scouting mission, something Clarke knows not to be true. She goes into the forest, suspicious of Lexa, and holds a gun to Ryder’s head just as he is about to shoot Octavia in the back with an arrow. She saves Octavia without her even knowing. I wonder how Octavia would feel if she knew her new people tried to have her killed, while Clarke was the one who saved her. Clarke is pissed and goes to confront Lexa, telling her she can’t just kill people she doesn’t trust. Lexa responds that in fact, she can. Clarke tells her that her feelings don’t make her any more weak than how Lexa hides her feelings. Clarke throws it back to TonDC and how Lexa let everyone burn, but Lexa says, “Not everyone…not you.” MY HEART GOES A FLUTTER BECAUSE I CAN SENSE WHERE THIS BEAUTIFUL MOMENT IS LEADING. Clarke is like whoa and is taken aback for a moment. She recovers, and tells Lexa that if she cares about her, she should trust her about Octavia. Clarke leaves and Lexa breathes out, looking as though she may cry. Clarke, outside the camp, turns around and has a moment catching her breath as well. THE SEXUAL TENSION PPL. I CAN’T. Lexa summons Clarke and tells her she doesn’t have to worry about Octavia, she’ll leave her alone. She tells Clarke she may think the Grounder ways are harsh, but it’s how they survive. Clarke responds, “Maybe life should be about more than just surviving. Don’t we deserve better than that?” and in that moment I knew. I knew in my heart what was about to happen and I still couldn’t even mentally prepare myself. Lexa whispers, “maybe we do,” and then kisses Clarke.

I’m sorry I just got so distracted because I went and re-watched it on YouTube like 5 times.

Clarke pulls away after kissing for like, awhile, and tells Lexa she isn’t ready, yet. And they run outside, because everyone realizes Bellamy has disarmed the fog. And they’re ready for war.

Team Raven: Raven enlists Wick’s help to aid Bellamy in disarming the acid fog. We learn through the talks that Monty and he are pals as he asks Bellamy about him. Bell just wants to blow the pipes up and be done with it, but the pair tell him that wouldn’t exactly be the best option for him to get out alive. They successfully guide Bell through lowering the pH levels through some science stuff, and then go to celebrate by almost kissing. But don’t worry shippers, they make up for it by having full on spicy sex. Raven shuts down emotionally once they’re done though, and Wick tells her he’s in this if she is, but he isn’t down to play games so she better figure it out. Raven simply responds, “We have a war to win.” Raven, Raven, Raven. Tsk.

Team Bellamy: The guards have finally realized Bellamy isn’t Lovejoy, and try to capture him. Instead, with the help of Maya’s father, he manages to get to the room where the acid fog is controlled. As previously mentioned, Team Raven helps him to disable it. However, just as Bellamy is leaving he notices a hidden valve that actually indicates the pH level is fine!!! Those tricky Mountain Men! He goes to radio Raven, but instead only Emerson and Cage hear him. They send guards to flood the acid fog room, but Bell kicks some butt. He jumps into a vent and fires at them. Cage turns on the acid fog, but turns out Bell’s wish to just blow it up is going to come true. He’s left a blowtorch on the controller thing, and it goes off. Bye acid fog!! Bellamy is a true hero.

Team Jaha: Jaha and his gang are still on their way to the mystical City of Lights. Just as one of their group is about to get to a punchline of a joke, BAM KABOYEE, he gets blown up. Turns out Team Jaha is smack dab in the middle of a mine field. There is a sand storm just in time too, so all previous footsteps are blown away. Jaha has decided he’s Jesus and determines, “These mines are just another test of our faith.” The gang makes it through remarkably, and start running up the final sand dune, but are gravely disappointed when they come upon the supposed magical city. It’s just a bunch of solar panels. Jaha begins to rant about how he’s Jesus basically and then questions how the solar panels have not been destroyed. This frustrates Murphy, who takes it upon himself to destroy them by throwing a rock at them. This causes a drone to spot them, and it starts whizzing away. Team Jaha chases after it towards to edge of a body of water, and then hop in a boat conveniently ready for them.

That’s it for this week’s recap! TWO MORE EPISODES TO GO GUYS. Can you handle it? I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly.
