It is hard to believe that the first of the two-part The 100 season 5 finale will air tomorrow night. Starting with Damocles Part One, our heroes emerge into battle, with hopes that peace will be obtained. Concluding with this will be the second half, The 100 Damocles Part Two. Just last week, the CW released the synopsis for the thirteenth episode. You can get access to it below.
Season Four
The 100 Shifting Sands, airing Tuesday, will indeed have shifting forces and tensions among everyone. It’ll be another fast-tracked episode, along with some unexpected events. While we cannot watch it now, hopefully, the trailer and the promo stills will ease the wait.
Talk about presenting and promoting one of the best shows on current television, and amplifying that promotion to define the show of what it truly is. The CW Network has decided to finally rev up the promotion for The 100-in which doesn’t get much, and the results are simply stunning. I believe this is one of those “quality over quantity cases” and in defense, it works. Really works. On Wednesday, a new 60-second trailer for season five was released, showing four of the main characters questioning their conscience and selves with the tagline, “Who Am I?”
The 100 season 5 trailer may only be days away, but a few more images have been “leaked” by Jason Rothenberg this past Saturday. Though the wait is excruciatingly hard, the stills soften the anticipation and suspense (somewhat). But until the trailer is officially released by Warner Brothers and the CW (the showrunner has no power over release), I can say that I am satisfied for now that we get these fun tastes. Continue on to see the stills from the trailer.
When it comes to villains, The 100 has created some very multi-faceted and dimensional ones. Who can forget Cage Wallace, who done some merciless deeds inside Mt. Weather? Or Charles Pike, the man who acted purely on vengeance? Now, the people will have a new villain to be concerned about in the upcoming season five. Canadian actor Mike Dupod will be joining the bad-guy line.
Some very exciting news about The 100 season 5 discreetly bubbled up on social media today, and it had the fandom raving! Any news about The 100 pretty much explodes the fandom as we simply cannot get enough-both literally and figuratively. I am not going to elaborate why this is, but on we go.
One of the several bonus features from The 100 season four DVD set (Thank you Amazon for not delivering yesterday, and had to make a crucial trip to Best Buy) was the blooper gag reel. I don’t know about you, but I always found it hilariously ironic as the show is all about the dark matter. In case that you cannot view it, I have it for you! Enjoy!
I have scanned and uploaded the pages of The 100 feature from this year’s Comic Con edition of TV Guide Magazine. Senior writer Damian Holbrook penned an amazing piece asking the important questions to show runner Jason Rothenberg touching base about the upcoming season five. The answers were nondescript about spoilers but provided enough satisfaction to quench the thirst. The feature also contained past seasons, a few BTS photos! You can access the scans below.
The 100 Season Four DVD Giveaway
