News and any spoilers regarding the last (*cries*) season of The 100 has been dead as a doornail.  It’s been rather quiet, that’s for certain.  Well, we finally have a snippet of news for now.

The Handmaid’s Tale actor, Jason Diaz has landed a recurring role in the seventh season.  According to Deadline, Diaz’s character is a bit of a rebel.  You can read the official statement below.

Via Deadline:

Jason Diaz (The Handmaid’s Tale) has booked a recurring role on the upcoming seventh and final season of the CW’s sci-fi drama series The 100. Diaz will play Levitt, a brilliant mind who has always lived by the book, doing exactly what he’s told. But when life throws him a curveball, he’ll come to discover that there is a bit of an artist — and a rebel — buried within.

I am assuming that Levitt is one of the newly awakened Eligius prisoners of whom was close to Diyoza, but current events might have altered his perceptions.

Joining him in the additional cast lineup will be Chuku Modu, Alana Huffman, and Shelby Flannery.

The 100 season 7 is to air in 2020 on the CW.  No official date has been released as of yet.
