The 100 will be heading to Comic-Con 2017 in just a few short weeks! This will be the fifth year for the post-apocalyptic drama, and once again, a “fan-storm” will take place in the panel room. Although season five will not be visible until January 2018, you can bet that there will be plenty of enthusiasm and questions circulating about. And let’s not forget the cosplays! Warner Brothers has released its annual release of the event, including panel information earlier today.
June 2017
Fans of the post-apocalyptic series, The 100 has voted and nominated Bob Morley and Eliza Taylor for the Teen Choice Awards 2017! This will be Bob’s second nomination for #ChoiceTVScifiActor, and Eliza’s third nomination for #ChoiceTVSciFiActress.
During the next few weeks, I will be busy catching up on articles and exclusive pieces for Grounders Source. What this means is that the Top Five OMG’s and a couple of reviews of season three episodes will be written. So, I am just preparing all of you for the updates.
On May 30th, Alycia Debnam-Carey attended a press conference with her fellow costars for Fear The Walking Dead. I have added some HQ photos from the event for all to enjoy!
The 100 Season 5: The Big Questions
It has been 2.5 weeks since The 100 aired the spectacular and well-orchestrated season four finale. With each raw and revealing scene, it became a symbol for life as it was a time bomb to survival. Praimfaya was the episode that defined and represented of what a season finale should be. It dared itself on a whole new level of viewership and integrated our minds quite sharply. This is the correct formula of great television. Even though it was out of this world (pun intended), the finale-like all its predecessors gave us some probing questions of what to look for and what will be the narrative for the next season. Here are my questions for The 100 season 5.
If you have ever been to a convention filled with fellow passionate fans, then you know just how fun, exciting, and life-changing it can be. Interacting and bonding with your favorite talent from a show is also a big bonus!
What if there was a convention that was designed by a fandom for that fandom? Fans engaging with fellow fans to give them what they want at this unique con?
Well, there is one, and it’s called Con-Geda, a The 100 convention.
The filming dates have been officially announced for The 100 season five. The series will be filming once again in Vancouver (take a vacation there, it’s lovely!), and YVRShoots will be the company doing the honor.
If you hadn’t heard, The 100 favorite, Henry Ian Cusick, will be a new lead in an upcoming Marvel television series airing this fall.
I have added new promo photos from The 100 season four that were released after the episode in the gallery. They’re in high resolution, and you may access them below. *The photos will contain inanimate spoilers from the episodes. Reader and viewer discretion is advised.*
